Ánirnar (Ánir) (Settlement)

Ánirnar is an outlying village from 1840 north of Klaksvík. Here, the municipality has built a large and modern port for both shipping and fishing. The port capacitates large ships, including cruise ships. Since 2017, this port has been named Norðhavnin (Northern Port). Several new homes have been built in Ánirnar, which in 2021 had around 60 inhabitants.
